What areas do you cover?

Our Office and Factory is based in North Shore, but we cover all areas of Auckland

Is the company insured?

Yes, we have a full commercial and residential insurance coverage upto 10,000 NZD.

When can you start?

That depends when you need us. We have three teams of full-time builders, plus many subtrades, so it’s easy to juggle to meet your needs.

Do I need to pay for a quote?

We prepare all our quotes free of charge!

What information do I need to provide to get a quote?

Useful information to help us give you a quick and correct quote is firstly a breakdown of the work involved, such as working drawings, a schedule of works and any contract particulars you may have. This will enable us to prepare an initial price. For the more accurate estimates, we will organise a meeting with you on site to see the property and assess the work involved from there.

Does BDM Construction design homes or provide architect services?

We have exceptional relationships with many of the most noted architects and designeres in Auckland. Pairing our clients with the right team to design and build their perfect home is our passion.

What do I do when I have architect drawings?

You can forward any architectural drawings to us and we will let you know an initial estimate. We will then organise a site visit to run through the work invloved. We will be in constant open communication with you to ensure that we deliver exactly what you want.

Can you help me if I do not have architectural drawings?

We are a building company so we do not prepare the drawings ourselves, but we do work with number of architects, and we can direct you to someone who will provide you with quality plans to fit your budget.

What if I am not happy with the finished job?

We take great pride in all our work and have built a successful reputation over the years. Due to the quality of workmanship we offer building guarantees. Of course there will always be snagging works which will be mutually agreed prior to the final completion, we allow 6 months for snagging and will always make sure that the finshed job is to your satisfaction.

Do you project manage my build ?

Yes, absolutely – we are very hands on. That means we can plan your project to meet timeframes and juggle all the subtrades (plumbers, electricians, bricklayers, painters, plasteres, tilers etc) making it as stress-free as possible for you.
